Hi there, I’m Owen.
Head Athletic Therapist and Owner of Owen Feeney AT Injury & Performance Clinic.
My job is to help you regain a life of activity free from pain, no matter what your level of activity may be.
A little about us… We are a results driven, client-focused, injury rehabilitation and performance clinic. We are located in CSP Gym, Bray, Co. Wicklow and in Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Here, as well as online, we provide both one-to-one injury consultations and injury rehabilitation appointments for general population and athletes.
Clinical Ethos
Professional Background
We provide in-house, pitch-side, event support and rehabilitation. Experience in dealing with a wide range of teams and sports and events including Rugby, GAA, American Football, Soccer, Field Hockey, Individual Athletes such as athletics, Boxing and Ironman 70.3 and Dublin City Marathon. He also deals with post-op patients as well as dealing with a large number of patients who’s injuries occurred from outside of sport in everyday life. Owen is also the Head Athletic Therapist for Festimed, who provide medical event cover for Dublin Marathon Race Series, and GAA World Games.
Educational Background
Owen is a named author on the study Fundamental Skill Proficiency in Juvenile Gaelic Games. Owen is occasionally mistaken for a Physiotherapist, however, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Therapy and Training from Dublin City University (DCU). He is also a Certified Athletic Therapist and Public Relations Officer for Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy Ireland (ARTI) who are the governing body for Certified Athletic Therapists (CAT’s) in Ireland.
